Our Mission
The Standard is an independent student journal of culture and opinion that seeks to edify and cultivate a spirit of gratitude at Baylor University by shining light on that which is good and praiseworthy in our community and common life.
Our History
The Standard was conceived in the summer of 2020. Our website launched on October 7, 2020. Within the year, the paper won the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s “Best Feature Story” award.
