Our Mission
The Standard is an independent student newspaper that offers thoughtful news and analysis in a tone that helps to build a common culture of freedom and responsibility at Baylor University.
Our History
The Standard was conceived in the summer of 2020. Our website launched on October 7, 2020. Within the year, the paper won the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s “Best Feature Story” award. A print edition will begin this fall.
